01. Parties

1.1. Spectraforce Technologies India Private Limited (“Company”)

1.2. User of Groko (“User”)

02. Scope

2.1. The Company is committed to protecting the User provided information which personally identifies the User on the Website. The Users consent to collection, receiving, possessing, storing and handling of the User Personal Data is in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy.

2.2. The Privacy Policy applies to all Users who access the Website.

2.3. Types of Personal Data collected by Groko -

2.3.1. "Personal Data" refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person including common identifiers such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person and any other information that is so categorized by applicable laws.

2.3.2. The Personal Data that the Company collects on the Website, and how the Company will collect it, depends upon how the User interacts with the Website, such as:-

a) If the User signs up for alerts to events - Name, email address, password, country, city, contact number and company/organization that User is associated with.

b) If User register with the Website - Information that one would usually include in his/her Professional Profile, including name, contact details including e-mail address and mobile number, work experience, educational qualifications, a copy of User resume, etc.

c) User of Website - Information about the services that User uses and how User use them, including log information and location information.

d) If User chooses to participate in Surveys/Questionnaires - Personal Data such as name, age, contact details, preferences, etc. through surveys and forms.

e) If User visits the Website - The Company uses cookies to automatically collect, store and use technical information about User's system and interaction with Company's Website and the services used after accessing the Website.

2.3.3. The Personal Data collected by the Company is in a legal, fair and reasonable manner and is solely for the purposes of ensuring that the Website which the Company presents to the User is effective and efficient during the User's access of the Website. Accordingly, the Personal Data may be used for the following purposes (collectively, “Permitted Use”) by the Company: -

a) To build up marketing profiles;

b) To aid strategic development, data collection and business analytics;

c) To aid the Company's relationship with advertisers and partners;

d) To enable the Company to provide the Website through the use of appropriate technological services;

e) To audit usage of the Website; and

f) To provide better features and services

g) To enhance User experience in relation to the Website by improving the Website and its content

h) To conduct market research surveys with the aim of improving the Website

i) To the extent required for identity verification, government sanctions screening and due diligence checks.

2.3.4. By agreeing to the Privacy Policy, the User hereby grants to the Company consent for sharing the information including the Personal Data, with third Parties, for the Permitted Use described hereinabove.

2.3.5. The Company collects and process the Personal Data of the User based on the User’s consent and as per the applicable law in force.

03. Security

3.1. The security of User Personal Data is important to the Company and the Company takes appropriate security measures as required under applicable laws, and which is commercially reasonable which includes all physical, managerial, operational and technical security measures to protect the Personal Data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, misuse, or destruction of Personal Data that the Company collects and stores.

3.2. These measures vary based on the type and sensitivity of the Personal Data

Although the Company endeavors to make best possible efforts to store Personal Data in a secure operating environment that is not open to the public, User should understand that there is no such thing as complete security, and the Company does not guarantee that there will be no unintended disclosures of Personal Data.

3.4. If the Company becomes aware that the Personal Data has been disclosed in a manner not in accordance with this Privacy Policy, the Company will use reasonable efforts to notify the User of the nature and extent of such disclosure as soon as reasonably possible and as permitted by law.

3.5. The Company seeks to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Information Technology Act, 2008 and rules made thereunder including The Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 to ensure the protection and preservation of User privacy. By accepting the terms of this Privacy Policy, User agrees that the standards and practices being implemented by the Company, are reasonable and sufficient for the protection of User’s Personal Data.

04. Information Sharing and Disclosure

4.1. The Company will keep User's Personal Data private and will not share it with third parties, unless Company believes in good faith that disclosure of such Personal Data or any other information Company collects about User is necessary for permitted use or to:

a) Comply with a court order or other legal process;

b) Protect the rights, property or safety of Website or another party;

c) Enforce the Privacy Policy, including the Terms of Use;

d) Respond to complaints that any posting or other content violates the rights of third parties;

e) In the event of a merger, acquisitions, bankruptcy or any other related matters.

05. User's right to Personal Data

5.1. The User have the right to request the Company to: -

a) Provide the User with access to the Personal Data stored by Website

b) Rectify the Personal Data provided

c) Erase the Personal Data stored on the Website

d) Restrict the processing of the Personal Data including refraining from selling it or otherwise providing it to third parties.

06. Data Protection Officer/ Grievance Officer

In case of any complaints and/or grievances in relation to the processing of Personal Data the User can send complaints via e-mail to our grievance officer at  data.privacy@groko.in .
